New Black Diamonds Top Hat

Never, never again. I wasn't completely happy with the way my first Black Diamonds hat was so I decided to try and make my own. Heh. Silly me! Hatmaking is ALOT harder than it looks lemme tell ya. After alot of experimenting and direction from Michaela De Bruce (thank you!) this is how it turned out. Still not completely finished with it; I think Im going to put a few layers of felt in to raise the top a little but overal Im happy with how it turned out! Update 8/3: I took apart the crown, added an extension at the top making it taller and wider then re-covered it. Now it is done and I am thrilled! |
