Jessica Rabbit; the ultimate redhead. Is there any question why I would want to dress up as her? ;) I made this costume literally less than a week before DragonCon; I finished it only the night before I had to get on the plane. I was pretty happy with how it came out except for the bust area; I couldn't get the curve of the top to lay quite straight. I also added extra fabric that I *thought* was going to make the skirt part fuller but instead it ended up coming out as a trail. Ah well, I did like how it looked with a train. I also would have liked to find better sequin fabric; the fabric I used was fuchsia sequins on black sheer fabric; I had to layer it over almost florescent pink fabric to get the right color. |
