This is a green and black taffeta gown with hand box pleated black
satin ribbon trim sewn down the center so it bows up. I've also
added a TON of beading to the trim; small jet seed beads in looped
swags. The bodice closes up the front with hooks and eyes and
is boned. The skirt is made up of a swagged overskirt and an
underskirt; both of which are heavily embellished.
This was my first foray into victorian gowns and I was hooked! |
